first VISIT WITH DR. BROWN

A behind the scenes glimpse of her personality.

Dr. Brown’s personality and style are evident throughout the clinic. It is comfortable, welcoming, efficient, and friendly. She has a great sense of humor and practices with humility and respect despite her myriad accomplishments. Years of study and experience with people who need help give her an outstanding ability to deliver care.

The initial visit is approximately a 1.5 hours, during which Dr. Brown and her staff review your past medical journey, discuss goals for the future and evaluate your current health status. The meeting is to determine conditions that may be as yet unidentified and may be impacting your health. A plan will be developed with you for further discovery, when needed. Initial recommendations may include labs, imaging, further outside testing and/or referrals within the medical community. A typical first visit includes onsite Dexascan (bone health) and EKG (heart status). Specialty testing may also be recommended. Willing staff will help explain and arrange things for you.


PRIOR TO YOUR VISIT

  • A non-refundable $250 deposit is due upon scheduling your initial visit. The deposit will go toward the remaining fee for your first visit.

  • Provide pertinent medical records to the office staff at least one week prior to your initial visit.

  • Bring all medications and supplement bottles with you to your visit.

  • When possible, print and fill out the following forms before your visit, and bring them with you. If you are not able to print, the office staff can mail the forms to you, just let us know.


Financial Policy

CMB Health Specialties does not bill insurance. We are a private pay office.

Your insurance may be used for standard laboratory testing so be sure to bring your insurance card(s). Insurance typically pays for x-rays and imaging, referral physicians, physical therapy, prescriptions, etc. ordered by Dr. Brown. It is, however, your responsibility to understand the nuances of your insurance plan and it’s coverage before each visit as insurance policies change.
